DR. TALBOTS USA


Since July 2021, I've been serving as the Social Media Marketing Graphic Designer for Dr. Talbot's, a renowned brand specializing in homeopathic & natural wellness products for babies. This position has presented me with a distinctive array of challenges. Notably, I discovered that the average parent often lacked familiarity with homeopathy & alternative medicinal approaches for their infants, as well as the potential benefits they could offer. My principal challenge in this role has revolved around leveraging social media & marketing strategies to clarify the concept of natural wellness while simultaneously expanding brand recognition.

CONCEPT

My initial task was to create a distinct visual identity for the brand. I aimed to convey to parents that Dr. Talbots was deeply committed to safeguarding their child's health, recognizing the immense trust placed in the brand for their children's well-being. Nevertheless, Dr. Talbots caters to babies, necessitating a tone that exudes playfulness & youthful charm while upholding a solid and responsible foundation.

Maintaining an equilibrium between informative & engaging content became pivotal across all social media platforms. To achieve my objective of cultivating social accounts that were both entertaining & educational, I utilized influencer partnerships, crafted engaging video content, designed captivating social media graphics, & developed printed materials.

SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS

I started to incorporate informational graphics into our feed. In collaboration with Dr. Melo, a prominent medical doctor & key figure within the HPCUS who contributed significantly to the development of Dr. Talbot's medicine, I wrote concise & easily comprehensible explanations for each product, illuminating their respective benefits. A huge part of this was making the graphic visually stimulating, which I achieved through the strategic utilization of color, patterns, familiar symbols, & consistent typography across all graphic formats. This blend of elements ultimately forged a distinctive visual language for the brand, ensuring its recognition & cohesion across various social channels.

Video Creation & Editing

I found a new passion in this role! I created in-house short-form video content to primarily be used on Tik Tok. The challenge of capturing the viewer's attention within the seconds pushed me to reconfigure my process, & integrating pop culture/trends helped to hold the viewer’s attention for the duration of each video.
